I've never heard of the place but it does sound like great idea.

It's a pretty cool chain place. They use real cars as decorations throughout the building. I was at one in Ohio that had a 25th anniversary Corvette mounted onto the wall with a '54 Corvette on a lift above some tables. I used to live in Mechanicsburg and there are all kinds of good places along the Carlisle pike to eat/meet. Besides with Carlisle being just down Carlisle pike, on car show weekends (like this one) that area is swarming with car show vehicles, especially on Friday and Saturday nights of show weekends.

Would the Mechanicsburg Quaker Steak and Lube work for the month of May? If it does maybe we can set a date and time. That way we can get the word out and have any C5 owners in that area join us as well.

QS&L in Mechanicsburg has my vote. How does Saturday May 10th sound to everyone? Time of day is not an issue for me so any time works for me.

Well we can make it for something like 10am. Meet at QS&L and take cruise around Mechanicsburg than come back to eat. It doesn't open till 11am. Or we can make it early in the afternoon.

For those of you in the area, I'm probably going to take my Camaro to a small car show at Stillmeadow church of the Nazarene in York this afternoon. In the past I've seen between 75 and 100 cars there and some of them are REALLY nice. If anyone is interested in stopping by from what I remember its a free show to look and $5 to enter your car. The address is 400 Stillmeadow Lane York, PA 17404, it's right off of Susquehanna Trail north of highway 30 and the show is from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Pyroguy that sounds like a great idea for today. I will probably join you, what time do you think you will get there?

I'll probably get there between 3 and 3:30. I like to see who all shows up and get a decent spot to park. If you have camping style chairs you might bring them to sit in.

Ok sounds good and we will bring some chairs. Is this the kind of meet where it is ok to save a spot for others?

Liked and following. I am another IBM from York. I have had mine since August 2009 and I have been waiting for a local Camaro5 group to form. I will try to make it to Quaker Steak and Lube on the 10th.
