I have an appointment for the paint issues on monday, I've been having the same rattle noise coming from the drivers door since I bought the car last week.

Glad I found this post. I have a rattle coming from my gear shift that was driving me crazy.

Any updates on door rattle? Going to be taking mine in this weekend. They better not blame it on "high bass". My gf 2011 Cruze doesn't have a single noise when playing the music at any volume.

I've found that when my dash area is rattling, if I lift up slightly on the bottom lip of the head unit, the rattle stops.

Yea there is a bulletin for the door rattles as well. Flocking tape is used to eliminate the rattles. Go get it fixed. I did mine myself.

I have an annoying rattle. Mine is coming from passenger sun visor. Service advisor heard it and it's easy to reproduce by simply tapping the headliner near the passenger sun visor. Said it would drive him nuts too. They will look into it and may require pulling the headliner.

I have a 2016 2SS vert. I was having a rattle from the right rear. I was told that they had to replace the right rear shock for the rattle. Being that I have MRC, this was a bit concerning.

I am having the same problem with my shifter. It seems to only rattle when it's in one of the forward gates/positions, i.e. 1st, 3rd (especially), and 5th gears. The dealer performed the TSB procedure (16-NA-078) referenced in the previous post, but unfortunately it had no effect.

Has anyone had any luck diagnosing/solving this issue?
