As long as I am able I plan on keeping my SS. I had a 99 SS that for some crazy dumb reason I wanted a brand new 4x4 Crew Cab 2500, well less than 6 months into owning it I was kicking myself in the butt for trading in my SS. My husband also owned a 92 (z28 I think can't remember exactly) Camaro that he bought in 2005 restored it and turned around and sold it to a friend, now he wishes he hadn't. Therefore maybe this time we will have learned our lesson! If I could afford it I would get an LT as a daily driver.

Short of that, I will never sell this car. I will be driving it when I'm way too old to be driving.

My sentiments exactly. If I had not lost my 4th gen to Katrina, I would still have it. This car will keep me happy fo a long time. If I ever start to get bored with it I will simply do a few mods and keep going.

Cool man your car is awesome (you should definitely keep it haha), was just asking because I wanted to make sure you saw the vid from the drive up to Camaro fest. Couple of shots of you.

This car is my "Gran Torino" like in the Clint Eastwood movie. I plan on keeping my 1SS forever. In this state with Obama's buddy, Deval Patrick as our governor, our 6.5% sales tax, our annual 2.5% excise tax, I feel taxed to death. I am sick and tired of providing freebies for the non producers, including our large population of Illegal Aliens. I will replace my 2001 Buick as needed and never drive my Camaro in the winter. You get severely punished in this liberal bastion for buying a new car. I am fed up with getting my f$%#ing pocket picked. If you buy new tires for your SS in Taxachusetts, you will pay $113.00 in sales tax. We can get away with buying our tires in New Hampshire, but not our cars.

May let mine go if the Z28 comes out. If not keep her and mod when paid off.

I do believe I will keep mine. It is my first new car that I actually had built for me, so it does have sentimental value to me.

Also, I am still underneath 1500 miles and have not been able to actually "put my foot in it"..but I aboslutely LOVE driving the car, just cruising. Never felt that way with any of my other cars. I believe this car is a complete package to me, comfort, performance, and looks. It's a keeper.

I'll probably trade up to the next-gen Camaro - after I pay this one off around 2015/6. But you can bet I'll be a Camaro driver for the next few decades of my life.

Learned a long time ago, "Never say never"!! If the right car comes along things happen. Traded in my 5th on the Corvette Vert 4LT below, no regrets. I hope to add the 5th vert when it comes along!

The white 2SS/RS I'll have forever. Sentimental reasons or midlife crisis. Whatever. Just love that car and only have 2200 miles. My favorite garage queen!!

This and even that isn't certain.
