Had the 14's had those taillights I would have easily traded my 2010 in. The only way I currently would buy a 14 is with a 13 rear body swap. I really do not like the 14 taillights

Not digging the vents. I think it would look better without them. I photoshopped up a version like that really quick and I think it was a vast improvement. The vents don't fit the body lines of the Camaro very well.

And WTF is up with the skinny-ass tires on this car? haha! :P

As for the render. No thanks and how did that make the front page? Sheesh.
Actually....

Did you know that the 2010-2011 Camaro steering wheel is the EXACT SAME as the one in the Lamborghini Gallardo? They have the same supplier. Who stole from whom? I also think it's the best looking Camaro steering wheel. The newer ones are too generic and unoriginal.

Change always comes. Sometimes you buy at the pinnacle of design and performance and sometimes you miss the boat. 2010 -2013 will go down in history as highly memorable designs. 2014. . . So so. Now we have to wait for Gen 6! No wonder everybody is photoshopping 2014....... Just not as satisfying to a large block of folk! And the best goes on........

Lol funny all this negativity is come from non 14 owners. History shows that camaros had basically the same layout as 14s are now. Imo ur saying that the 1969 which is probably the best looking camaro has ugly taillights

The 2014 1LEs are friggin bad ass looking....except for the butt end.

Don't worry man, your car is awesome.

But you have to admit if the 2014 was accepted as well as the previous model there wouldn't be so much complaining. Some of it is just change, or jealousy or whatever....but a lot of us are just giving our honest opinion.

My honest opinion is that if you had a car that looked like your 1LE does from certain angles like some front and side angles...and then C7 like tail lights but without the tear drop (and a diffusor that isn't so HUGE...we can't forget that as that is half of the foul here!!) it would have been another perfect design. But instead they gave it a rear that isn't horrible, but just isn't as popular as it could have been. I actually prefer the non-RS version this time around.

Definitely better than the '14 lights but the '10-'13 still look way better IMO.

Personally I don't think comparing the '14 to something similar to a '69 is correct at all. The '69 didn't wrap around the edge of the quarter panel at an angle. Honestly, I've always loved the round tail lights of the '70-'73 and had they come like that on a 1st Gen we would've loved every minute of it. Can't fathom a 1st Gen with round lights now but that's just what were are used to.

I think the difference in the '10-'13 vs '14 should be compared more to the screw up that GM did with '70-'73 vs '74-'77. The first round of the 2nd Gen where awesome and then they completely pulled the tail lights out of the ugly bucket for the next round.

IMO, GM screwed up when they made the changes for '14. I know they had to do something and it was going to be really hard to change such a home run design they did on the '10 but still I think they really went in the wrong direction. So glad I have an early 5th Gen.

2014 Camaro taillights are more in line with the "retro" theme of the 5th gen. The new ones embody every other generation of Camaros, excluding of course a 3.5 year run from 70.5-73. I know you all have a stiffy for the 2010-2013 taillights, but you obviously do not remember the past. You want two separate taillights, go buy a Corvette, or maybe a Vega.

The original photoshop with the c7 taillights is, well, ugly.

GM's "screw up" on the 74 models lasted until 2002. Maybe they should just leave the 5th gen unchanged until 2050? It will be classic and modern at the same time just like the VW bug sold in 3rd world countries until earlier this century.

Ok, I do get it, I loved the 2nd gens (all of them) and when the 3rd gens came out, I thought the world was going to end. In my defense, I was 11 years old at the time. Ultimately I came to appreciate the 3rd gens for what they were and moved on. The changes to the 2014 are so minor I think everyone else should do the same this week or better yet today.
