This is one of my favorite things about loud exhaust. Parking garages and narrow streets are the best. I laugh every time it happens.

That reminds me of college. My friend Steve had a '69 442 with a 455, and straight pipes. Sometimes he drove me home. He would do about 50 mph down this street lined with brick buildings, and then drop it into second gear. The exhaust sounded like a machine gun, and we'd laugh. he must have been dancing on the redline with that thing every day just to do that. Poor thing got T-boned by a bus a few years later. Steve was OK, his 442 was scrap :(

Why does noise cause alarms to go off? I wasnt trying to be a dick, just wanted to see if it really was my car doing it
Sound waives do make just about anything vibrate
The sensors are trigger by those waves vibrating front doors , windows etc .
Just slow down , and try not to show off , or you will be having problems with your neighbors

this. the only one who finds it "cool" is the person doing it. was on vacation one time at MB during mustang week and was treated to one or two people a day going through every level of the parking garage doing it. nobody was impressed, but tons of people were annoyed. it's stopped after a day, so I'm sure somebody was kicked out.

seemed kind of juvenile to me, but maybe it's just me.
