I understand your requirements and agree with you but there are no cars out there that will meet this criteria unless you are going out of the Retro Muscle car category. Even in a sport sedan I can only think of a few and they are in a much higher price category.
I have a 69 camaro vert I got in 79 and am in the same age range (well slightly older). Good luck in your search I just don't think you are going to find a car like you are looking for without sacrificing something.

I'm really impressed from what I've seen here, that's my color inside and out I will have to see it live and in person. I was hoping for a hard tonneau cover however i do see the cost and weight draw backs. So for me the stang and the camaro do not have it ("O" well) and I would not cross shop the bmw anyway. When it comes time to pull trigger I guess it could come down to price. I still think I would wait until (my) 2012 for updates to the interior etc, and to see if there are any problems with the top.

Sadly, Cyn, I have too much experience in coming back to Michigan from a warm vacation at Thanksgiving. But a good thing about the Camaro is the big glovebox that can hold two hats and two pair of gloves. I always expect the cold.

Florida Members!!!

I was planning on meeting number 3 friday morning approx 0730 near tarpon springs as i will be in florida on family vacation that week...

the problem is i will be with my girlfriends family and i think i will have a hard time convincing her dad that its worth the drive from Ft. Myers that early.

does anyone want to go with me to see number 3?! :-) maybe pick me up?
i dont need a ride back only a ride there

Oh you'd be surprised, the experiences I've had in Florida in a convertable........heheeeee. Maybe you can just wait until a rain shower looms on the horizon or even better............take the pics in the evening before bedtime. But get it done already!
