Muffler delete sound question
I had a muffler delete because I don't like super loud custom exhaust but I like a little deeper sound. It sounds great but I notice that when I'm not on the gas hard or when it's just cruising it goes from a deep pitch to a v6 sounding pitch what's with that? Sounds weird.

I have the muffler delete and don't get that either. I do know that when you take your foot off the gas, the ECM cuts the fuel to the engine and if your going down an incline, you will get a decel pop. I love it!

This.
Your AFM is kicking in giving it two separate exhaust notes. If you shift the car with the paddles, it is less noticeable.

Get a Range AFM disabler. Plugs directly into your OBD-II port. Essentially a plug and play system.

The only thing I have from the muffler delete is a low drone which I kind of like.

Definitely sounds like AFM kicking in to me. You can tune it out, or try out that Range device.

I think what your hearing is AFM kicking in. You can disable it by tuning your car ( voids warranty) or you can get a Range device. Also you could use this method put your car in S mode downshift with steering wheel paddles to 1st than up to 2nd and then down to 1st and 2nd again and then first; All this while stationary with your foot on the brake this should turn of AFM put once you get out of M mode you have to repeat it to get it to disable. I am not sure about this method but I heard it works.
