I didn't read all of the posts but i've never heard of a business closing its doors because it got too darn busy and couldn't keep up. I thought those were GOOD problems to have?

I am a happy owner of the lowering springs and ZL spec sway bars on my 2012 SS. Was looking forward to upgrade the endlinks, bushings, arms and tie rods this spring/summer.

I hope you guys are back soon, the quality of product at the price was some of the biggest bang for the buck I have encountered modifying cars.

I will be keeping an eye for a "Pfadt Racing is back!" thread down the road

It’s with heavy hearts that we announce the closing of Pfadt Race Engineering. Since 2006 we have manufactured the highest quality aftermarket components for Corvette, Camaro, and Cadillac right here in Salt Lake City, Utah. Since the addition of Pfadt power products to our extensive suspension line, sales have increased exponentially, which put us into a perpetual backorder. We have spent the past 4 months meeting with investors and venture capitalists trying to secure financing to push Pfadt to the next level and unfortunately the deals to be made were not in our company’s or employee’s best interest. Without a large investment we do not have the resources to meet the demand, which leaves us with no other option but closing our doors.

We would like to thank all of our employees who put their hearts and minds into this business to make it what it is today. We would like to thank our dealers who expertly installed our parts and helped us build our product line with their professional insight. Finally we would like to thank you, our customers. You helped us build a grassroots performance company in the United States. You pushed us to make bolder and better products year after year. You created the Pfadt Family - and that’s what we will miss the most.

We hope this is a minor speed bump on the long road ahead. Much like GM has experienced in the past, we are also experiencing a setback, but we will reorganize and resurface, faster and more streamlined than ever. We have taken care of all of our customers in this deal - you will receive a tracking number for your product or a full refund - and we are sorry for the delays, time lost and backorders many of you experienced. You were all so patient and understanding as we grew, and once again it’s a tribute to how solid the GM community is. We did everything in our power to take care of you and we appreciate the years you allowed us to be a part of your journey. It’s been an amazing ride.

Sincerely,

Aaron Pfadt
I am very sorry to here this news I have PFADT on the rear of my car and absolutely love it. I think Pfadt was the only manufacture of the solid sub frame bushings.
I wish everyone at PFADT the best of luck and I hope to see you back in the near future.......

So sad to see you all go. As soon as I saw this I hunted down one of the few remaining Rear Arm sets... I have always been a huge PFADT Fanboy and even have your signature on my strut tower and one of you (cant remember) even drove my SS at Camaro5fest in Phoenix.

So go ahead, take a knee, drink some water, regroup, and make an epic comeback! Good luck!

Sorry to see you guys go what a shame. Do you guys have parts left in stock that you will still be selling or were all your parts made to order?

One of the top three reasons? Says who? Even if it's true, it still makes no sense. I'm sure there's obviously a valid reason but to the layman, it's silly to think that having too many customers is a problem to which the answer is shut down.

I've seen a similar case in the R/C helicopter industry. Well known brand, high-quality, extreme-performance (read: expensive) products, made in the USA, the works. It wasn't so much they couldn't keep up with demand as it was they really didn't have the desire to. They were comfortable with the pace they set and dealers being out of stock for months, even years, haters on the forums, etc. never phased them. Eventually, their manufacturing processes improved, prices came down, supply went up, and now they're about to release a new product line. Some people still hate them, I'm sure, but the true fans know what's up.

But that's just one example and every business is different, certainly.

I didn't even hear Pedders closed too. I haven't upgraded my suspension yet at all and Pfadt and Pedders were the only two names I recognized as well known popular brands. Now what will I do if I win the lottery?

Anyway, best of luck to Pfadt (and Pedders) in the future. Having the fan base as you both do, I'm sure you'll land on your feet.

How about a Pfadt/Pedders co-venture? Eh?
