My oldest son is a die hard Cowboy fan as well. I don't personally hold it against him. I just like to point out that to be a winning team, you have to win more games than you lose--especially at home. Face it, the 'House that Jerry Built' is a bust.

They were 12-4 the year before. Not many teams can lose the #1 running back in the NFL and the #4 quarterback and not take a dive in win/loss.

Likewise. I love football more than any other sport, but I can only comment on my own team until its closer to the season starting.

I feel like the bears had a very good draft, and a good FA period as well. Last year there a few games were a missed kick cost them, or only a play away from being a .500 team. Instead they went 6-10. Looking at their schedule I would not be shocked if they went any where from 7-9 to 11-5. As of right now, I would have to say they will probably be 8-8 or 9-7 but I won't make that my lock yet lol. John Fox has a history of turning teams around quick.

GB will probably win the division, not having Nelson last year really killed their offense.

The Bears? Shoulda, coulda woulda, they won't make a move with cutler as QB, worst QB in the division.

Stafford couldn't do anything with Megatron. Will be a tall glass of water to do anything without him.

No QB in the history of the league has thrown for more yards in less games than Matt Stafford. Him getting paid has less to do with his ability than the fact this is last year of his contract, and to keep him the Lions will have to over pay him to keep him off the market. If he hits the market teams like the Texans, Jaguars, Browns, Chiefs , and others will over bid and outbid each other to get him, wait and see. As for doing nothing with MEGATRON, first year they were coming off an 0-16 year, went 1-9 got hurt, only played two games the next year got hurt. Made the playoffs two of the next five years with zero rushing game and a horrible o-line for the worst franchise in the league, him, MEGATRON, and very little else. If he was ever on a real, good team, his talent would shine through.
