Their evasiveness as to what caused the hold added to my suspiscions and these initial times only serves to reinforce that (to me at least).

Where are times for the 13gt500???

this is one data point time will tell if chevy overhyped the 1/4 time or if this car just needs some break in time/ tweeks.

I dont think thats the issue, but my EVO ran a 12.9 and 13.1 BONE stock with 640 miles on it in 2006. that was with 286 to the crank, and about 225 awhp on a mustang dyno. 23% loss... My evo weighed in at 3380 pounds without me. so its about 600-650 pounds. Take into consideration over DOUBLE the wheel hp and being RWD (dominating drag platform) and thats where the disappointment comes from.

Looks like we can all do a group buy on boat tickets to the Nurburgring... No one can touch us there atleast...

not sure what you have seen but I have yet to see real data on the 2013 gt500 just est. most stuff I have seen is 3.7 11.7 wich is right on line with a Z06 and a magazine review time. the ZR-1 smashes that though. the Zr-1 driven properly is low 11's stock.

GM is not holding back. if you look at that dyno this car is not running right or that graph is jacked up. a probably tunned car does not drop 50lbs of torque and then start to gain.

there was a event at 4500rpm that cause the computer to adjust losing power.

I was expecting a lot more from Hennessey. I would have thought they would double check the car after seeing the dyno chart and that big dip before running it...Can you please explain that dip? What's happening? Any guess? My auto TQ numbers start to drop at 4500rpm but it's more like 20 ft-lb linearly from 4500 and 5000. I am curious from an engineering stand point.

Exactly. All this drama with a weird looking dyno graph. That drop is not right and there is something wrong after 4500 rpm. That is not normal.

And for me 12.5 sec would also be a disappointment for a ZL1.

However, I am holding off judgement now considering the dyno chart. Simple as that.

It had to be the dust... Did they check the strip for any dust? You can't expect good times when there is dust on the road!!!

that dyno chart looks off, but none the less thats a terrible run, considering the thing is a stupid proof auto that eliminates human error it should have ran .5sec slower.
Sad sad day... i still cant wait for my dad to get his tho

If you have a tune issue and the car looses 50llbs of torque in the middle of you power band in every gear how to you have a good run ot matter what you driving skill is?

I agree that at 4500 rpm an 'event' happend, but nobody can sit here and say for sure that same event happend during the run...

To assume that would just be speculation. The time is what it is...

Everyone needs to stop making all these lame excuses and wait for some more times to be posted.
