yeah, but i think the 5.0 would possibly need a tune and maybe a cai.

If they are running in the 11's it looks like a 5.0 vs a GT500 will make a nice 1/4 driver's race as well.

How is everyone getting away with running below an 11.50 without a cage? That won't happen at my track. Well only once until they kick you to the curb.

Private rentals or some tracks don't care. I had a friend running 10.7s in his mustang Friday night and they told him he should look into a roll bar but he can keep running.

I was told to install a roll bar which will be happening in the very near future.

On T&T evenings, they let you get away with a little more where we run up to a limit. If you take advantage of the situation, you are not allowed to run anymore until a bar is installed.

On a bracket race or official race day, your car is inspected top to bottom for proper safety equip. D/S loop, metal valve stems, lug nuts, roll bar, catch can, battery cut off, etc. It has to meet NHRA/IHRA safety rules.
