Happened to me. True story.

I had that happen to me too, I was like what the hell...

For the USB thumb drives, the early release owners manual said "Only the first 10,000 songs are recognized."

This was in error and the later release owners manuals were fixed. The manual was corrected to read:

Only the first 2,500 songs are recognized.

In two days of ownership you should already know everything in this thread and not waste time reading it like I did.

I didn't have to fill up within the first two days. The dealer filled my car up with premium. I had to search this site to figure out why I didn't have a fog light switch. I'm not sure how I would have figured out that I can just turn the key and let go, while the car starts itself. There are probably a few other tricks I wouldn't have realized without this thread.

Plus, who's to say that someone reading this thread hasn't had it for less than two days?

BTW: The whole turn the key and let go thing screws me up every time I drive my truck.

RS Halos will turn off automatically after 10 mins if left in "on" mode after key removed and beeping warning ignored. Sometimes useful in a dark area

Alarm will sound if trunk button or hood latch are activated should car be locked and secured with windows down

If you engage cruise control while coasting in neutral your engine will rev up to redline. Found that out the hard way yesterday lol

you can roll down the windows by holding the unlock button i think too. or lock button idr. srry for thread jacking

This doesn't happen on my 2011 2SS/RS... is it something you have to have activated by the dealer?

My wife's 2010 Jetta does it, but not my Camaro.

No activation needed. Perhaps you're not pushing down enough

Probably the opposite...if you push down a hair too much the blinker will stop once you release, literally its just a SLIGHT tap on the blinker and it will blink (3 times i think, and stop)...
