He wants to see a new nissan/datsun model?

370Z with a 2.8L engine perhaps?

Night all.

Ha!!

I'm reading on some of the Solstice/Sky forums about this Stage II kit and it sounds like it could transform the car into a sub 5 second car to 60. Hmmmmmmmmmmm
with the weight of the car, you would be at a point of "traction deficit"

Heh - thats why I think an LS3 (or, really, an LSX376 w/ LS3 top end) is all you'd really need. From what I've been reading, 275 tires are about as wide as you can go on that car, so... you've gotta set the line somewhere.

However, theres an LS1 solstice running 11s with about 400hp at the wheels if I remember correctly. Not bad at all, if you ask me.

it all depends on your goals/plans for the car. if I'm going to swap a motor in a car. its going to be powerful, its going to be a little different than the everyday swap, its going to make womens' knees tremble, babies cry and opposing car owners piss their pants.

id tub the car, drop a carb'd 440LSX in there and hang on for dear life.

then again, I make so much torque I fart newtons.

Heh. Yeah, that seems like something you would say.

But seriously, I've fallen in love with that LSX376. I'd love to do a carbed setup (simply because I like the look) but I want to go fuel injection for any future project cars. If I could find a fuel injection kit that used a top mount throttle body (mounted basically where a carb would go) I'd rock that in a heart beat.

I'm not looking at her toes, but it's kinda hard to miss. That's why I said as long as she has mittens on, I'm with you.
