I'm with you! TPW 8/1 and I ordered a 2SS/RS black with hurst shifter an polished wheels.

Howdy all!

My order's been in for almost eleven weeks and finally made it to a 3000 status!

TPW 8.1 and crossing fingers for an extremely speedy delivery. I've got special plans for this car, so I've got to get it to the dealership asap.

45th Anniversary convertible with M6 - there are very few actual options available on this car. Stripe delete, Hurst, manual vs. automatic are the few I can think of offhand. I chose the manual without the Hurst and left the stripes, as they are one of the defining features of the car.

Some of my plans:

- Supercharger
- Replace wheels (there are a set of ADVs that I am drooling over)
- Suspension
- Exhaust
- Long tubes
- Aftermarket Hurst
- Upgrade Clutch
- Replace hood (hood scoop - yay!)
- Replace the front fascia to eliminate mailslot
- Paint stripes on, possibly using a slightly brighter gray and the 4th gen RR
- Rear spoiler
- Katzkins
- Tint
- Clearbra

I also have the 45th Annniv. conv. M6, stripe delete. I can't wait! I hear that the plant shuts down for vacation in Aug. I wonder if this will affect our dates?

Hmmmm, I haven't heard anything about that. I HOPE it doesn't affect the build - gonna have to ask some questions about it.

Are you gonna leave the stripes off or paint them on? Do you have an 8.1 tpw too?

long boring wait until 8/1 rolls around! i cant wait! what do you guys plan to do your camaros when you get them?

im planning:

Jetstream blue ss badges
Black or grey bowties
Corsa exhaust
Quad corsa tips w/ quad diffuser.
GM painted Strut Bar

Since its an anniv. car we are probably not doing to much. just the painted stripes and exhaust. we already own 2010 abm. we did full exhaust, headers, cold air intake, and a tune. that one is our toy.

Should look very clean!

Ive never owned black before so i want to keep it clean. Im going to try black/ polished/ chrome kind of look..always has a nice classy look.

I am counting down the days as well. I'm glad we all wanted vehicles that Chevy could build right now! Would hate to be waiting on CRT, or a gray or blue :(
