Cold Air Inductions review - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

So after much going back and forth between which intake I wanted decided to go with CAI. I liked the idea of the insulated air box with the clear lid. The install went well not to hard at all it took me about 1hr taking my time. The hardest part was getting that breather hose off. The night before the install I pulled both fuses and disconnect negative battery ternimal. After install I started it up idle was smooth and no CEL lights. All I can say is that from the seat of the pants feel it feels faster and responds better when I step on it. I also love how you can really hear the supercharger whine. I can not comment on better MPG'S because it seems like I always put my foot into it to her that supercharger. Overall I am very happy with the inatke. Also JDP motor sports were great to deal with and answering all my questions. It also arrived when they said it would get here. Here is an installed pic

By far, the nicest cold air intake around. Dzus-like quick turn fasteners and Pefect fabrications. I built a racecar and I'm a perfectionist. This is a first class piece.

I have this intake as well. I'm convinced this is the best one out there. I had the Rotofab before, and while it's good, I like CAI INC better. I've tested the LTFT's on the stock tune at WOT between the two, and the CAI INC are better for sure. Also, the clamps stay tight!

I just ordered the black and they were out of stock. Was told that they would have them in about a month. They have the near chrome in stock.
