I've been checking the Canada section to see if anyone else cares about bball here. Nice to see a thread pop up.
What a run. I'm pretty tired at work today but it's totally worth it. This does a lot for basketball in Canada and as a sports fan it feels awesome to cheer on a Championship team.

I haven't really watched basketball since the Grizzlies left here in Vancouver, but hopefully this means we can get another team in Canada.

Yah no kidding. When Danny Green threw that pass out of Ibaka's reach I gained a new grey hair.
There is an interview Adam Silver did with CBC not too long ago. They talked about basketball in Vancouver and while he admitted disappointment in the failure of the Grizzlies, he also said there is no current plans for expansion.

Yeah that should never happen. But it does in boxing, mma, and when people get checked in hockey, or tackle football or hockey fights. People have always been that way.
