Long Island shop for rear end swap
I'm out on Long Island, Suffolk County looking for a shop to swap out my 3.45 center section for a new 3.91. Anybody know of a reputable shop on Long Island? TIA

Cisco, who owns 5th Gen customs is a member here and in the NY 5th gen club. He's a really good guy and straight shooter.

Iv only dealt with JTM Motorsports, don't get me wrong, they are a bit on the high side.
But you wont regret it.

Thanks for the info on NewGen!! Cisco is awesome. Took my car in on a Sunday and did a ton of work in one day. BMR lowering springs, Borla Atak exhaust, 3.91 rear center swap, hooked up my oil catch cam, changed out my tranny fluid and an oil change. Even sold me his factory wind screen.
Car looks, sounds and drives like a new car. Definetly recomend the shop. The 3.91's change everything. No more chugging in 1st gear. Acceleration off the line is so much better. Can get into 6th gear without doing 90 mph. The Atak exhaust is louder but not obnoxiuos. And the stance is nice, no more space between the tires and fenders. |
