Rim rash protection.

After only 3 weeks I got a rash on the passenger side front Wheel on new American Racing Tork Thrusts.....

Best solution was to get the wheel repolish and loose the car for a few weeks.

Fast and inexpensive solution was to install RimPro-Tec inserts to hide the rash and get some protection in the future.

They are very easy to install for around 100$....and I like the looks on my car which is kind different than others.

And they can be replaced if ever they get scratch again....

That looks good. Beats buying a new wheel.

I like them, but have never scratched a rim in 20 years. I really watch where I drive and know where my wheels are.

You never parked at St-Saveur Laurentides village on the main street. Either you park close to the curb, or get your mirrors scratched by moving cars. My first rashes where on Gen5 Camaro's also.
