Actually half-sister, but it's the same feeling. Thanks for your kind words.

You have my condolences regarding your sister, but storing my guns at a gun club does me no good when an intruder is threatening me, my loved ones, or my property.

to be fair, i don't think you need to use one of these, to protect yourself and yours. lol

it's called an assault rifle, not a defense rifle.

I have a right to defend myself and my property. Forcing me to store my firearms where I can't get to them sort of defeats that purpose.

If someone tries to break into my house, the most effective means of home defense is a carbine. If you were truly educated on firearms and their intended uses, I would not have to explain this.

I'm a big proponent of the concept that if you don't have any experience with something, then you probably have no business telling someone else how to use said item.

Im sorry but you are mistaken. The "AR" in AR-15 or AR-10 does not stand for "assault rifle". It stands for ArmaLite, the orginal manufacturer of the AR rifle platform. The only people to refer to the them as assault rifles are the uninformed and people suffering from liberal mindset disease.

He was being sarcastic

To better summarize the gun control debate take the scenario below:

A person gets drunk, gets in their mid-size sedan, and then proceeds to drive that vehicle into a crowded building and kill several people.

Because of this person's actions do we:

a) ban SUV's (because they have a high capacity, even though they are not what was used in the case above)

b) ban all motor vehicles

c) ban alcohol

d) Make the 20 feet surrounding all public building an "automobile-free" zone

e) create severe punishments for driving drunk

There was a few reports that the NRA wanted squashed that proved homes with fire arms are in fact less safe than ones that do not. But the conservative mindset disease leaves people to only believe what faux news tells them. The only answer to gun violence...is in fact more guns!!!!

Brilliant!

The gun industry loves when a Democrat is president..... because they all of sudden want to take ur guns and people go bat shit crazy buying every last box of ammo. Its comical.

Oh btw I believe everyone has the right to keep and bear arms.

I believe that if there were literally ZERO guns in the world, people would still kill each other. Whether it's with a knife, a baseball bat, a tire iron, their bare fists, a 2x4, or a ballpoint pen, people would kill each other. People would still steal, they would still rape and murder.

Guns are tools. They are the simplest, easiest, and quickest way to defend yourself from an attacker. And as long as there are still guns in this world, I want the most effective means to defend myself should I ever need it.

Let's face it, no one ever WANTS to have to defend themselves, because no one WANTS to be the victim. But I would rather have the means to defend myself and NEVER need it, than need a means to defend myself and NOT have it. I hope and pray to God that I never have to shoot another human being in self defense. But if I am attacked, I will do whatever I can to protect myself and those around me.

That being said, mass shootings that get all of the publicity in the world for 24 hours a day for several days on end make up less than 1% of all gun violence/deaths. And only a subset of that 1% are comprised of carbine related mass shootings.

Our real problem is sensationalism of violence.

Sir, you don't need 400hp, I'm going to take your Camaro away from you now and instead you can drive this Vespa.
