Street scene not like it used to be

I stopped today and I took look around me. I noticed how boring the strEets looked of car...ugly boring cars. Sure cars are better today but extremly boring, even the 4 bangers running turbos are quick but boring even if they are 150 mph. Sure I grew up as a kid in 60s and 70s cars were not as good because tech is always evolving but the streets were really cool back then. Cars had style they were quick and they left a legacy. People knew cars were cool. Today most cars seem to be built for soccer moms and stuckup yuppies. Even cars from the 50s were cool back then. Today there are just the camaro mustang challenger and charger the rest are run of the mill cookie cutters. Am I really so wrong to feel this way?

Bring back the restro mods by building bad ass cars with today’s technologies. I couldn’t agree more with you that’s why we build what we do. I am so sick of the stock this and that with some wheels on them. Let’s get creative again and take back the automotive world. The top 3 aren’t even American companies anymore WTF

Fesler 67 Supercharged racing frame C-10

A Fesler pro touring 55 that will kill a vette any day of the week

Fesler 70 Cehvelle with a vette engine

full race 69 Fesler blazer

or how about a Fesler 49 Merc Led Sled

or a Fesler 69 Blown 540 1000HP plus Camaro

Just a few cool cars for you guys

Wow, I guess low riders are for everybody now.

Oh, maybe they are only low riders if they bounce up and down? Maybe those are just slammed?

These cars all ride better than your daily driver and will out perform you all day long. Dont hate on the old cars we make them better then new stuff and they have all the power and handling they need. These are full air ride cars that ride like a cadi and then put them into sport mode and tighten everything up for the track. Best of both worlds in one package

How much do those cost? Lol

There are some awesome cars out there these days but most of the really good ones you aren't gonna see just riding around the streets.

i only dream about being able to grow up in a time where you can go to the Chevy dealer and have the option between Chevelles, Camaros, and Impallas. must have been a sight to see. although im sure people at the time took it for granted and thought exactly what we are all thinking now...that these cars arent as special as they once were. i can only imagine what cars will be like in 40 years......

Get on autotraderclassics sometime and just compare the prices of a decent shape older car to what a new car costs, and you'll be amazed at how much machine you can get for the price.

Actually many of the baby boomers knew the cars were kind of special in that unique era of history. When I was a tyke we had a 55 olds rocket 88 and I can still remember the smell of it and wish my father could have kept it. Next came the 62 olds 98 our first car with ac. Those fit right in with music of the day and later the mini skirts in late 60s and 70s. Many just could not keep our cars because of maint costs. My 69 roadrunner stayed with me from 1976 to 1989. I planned to keep it until it was antique but later found I could not afford to store it. But that car would be worth about 15-20k in the condition I had it in then. It was definatly a more exciting time in history.
