New owner and losing my mind.

Finally got my first Camaro after almost 40 years of wanting one. I was a car nut at a very young age. Seems like everyone in my family has had one, at one point or another, and I figured what the 'ell.

Lots of good info on the forum here. Very reminiscent of other vehicle forums...particularly the old Jeep and Ranger forums I belonged to eons ago. But, I digress.

Owned my rig for about 3 weeks and am thoroughly enjoying the ever living F out of it. This is gonna be my daily driver. As it should be. No Sunday drivers here.

Been an off-road guy my whole life but this is a completely new experience. Told myself at the git-go, "cruise control is your friend." So much for my perfect driving record. Waiting for those first gumball lights to flash in the rear-view. Knock on wood, never happens. Thanks for reading...I'm a complete freaking noob!

Day one pic at the dealership attached. Giddy as a school girl in springtime is my only way to put it at the time. BTW, was talking to the guy that was picking up the Vette next to me. Think he had more giddyness than I did and he was MUCH older than I am.

CONGRATS on the ride, and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5/6. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wives', husbands, girlfriends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!

Vette guy will be giddy until he has to buy his first set of new tires. Congrats on your beautiful Camaro!
