LLT bottom end gone
Just wondering if anyone has successfully put an LFX bottom end under an LLT top end. The LLT's are stupid money and generally beat to hell.

The LFX short block is a direct bolt on to the LLT heads if you wish to retain the LLT heads.
Overkill South if FL does LFX swaps complete with engine as well. If all you did was spun a rod bearing, and new crank and bearings may be all you need (always do timing chain set at same time). Did you run it out of oil? There is no low oil warning until 2012-13 on these engines. Hope this helps some. |

We don't know exactly but the engine is rough all around, we figure it was ran out of oil. The high pressure pump also ate it during this process. Good to know about the LFX bottom end as I wanted to confirm that my LY7 heads would fit, if LLT will fit, so will the LY7. I would guess that the bottom end is pretty much scrap at this point. Thank you kindly for the info!
