Windows Phone 7 does NOT work as a Zune with PDIM

I kinda figured it wouldn't but I was hoping that Microsoft would've stuck to their old protocol so that it would work. Sadly, it just says "unsupported device" or whatnot when you plug it into the USB. A2DP bluetooth does work great though.

Not going to get into a pissing match but as much as it pains me to say it, a iPod Classic is still the best music playing device for the Camaro.

I can honestly say I sold my 80G Zune and upgraded to Android 2.2 Froyo for A2DP, and some other features.

I would think, if you have Phone 7, then you have access to the Zune media control for your music collection and Zune Pass music( if you subscribe for the service) all in one interface.

I had to swing my Zune catalog over to open source (free code) just so I could stream Bluetooth A2DP wireless through my audio system from my backpack or pocket . Also when the phone is out, it is in GPS Navigation via a smart phone with music playing, and oh ya, muting both to take/make a phone call. Your Phone 7, Black Berry, and a small company called Apple(who invented bluetooth.) can do all of that fun stuff too.

I don't know why I'm bothering to post 6 months too late.

This is why I dislike Apple fanbois. They have no real idea about technology. You think because you can "build" a computer and read some technology forums you're some kind of expert? Next thing your going to tell me is that Apple's are impervious to viruses. Seriously learn to fact check before you post stupid stuff like Apple invented bluetooth. Give credit to the people who actually did invent bluetooth (Ericsson mobile).
