Going to do mine too. Check out posts by Black10, he gives a great instructional video on how to install.

As for all the very helpful advice and recommendations, I thank you. So I need to look for Adhesive backing vinyl. Gotcha. Lot's of printshops around me, I'll ask them =D

Also... just a mini vote here, I plan on getting black. Should I try to get Matte Black? or Shiny? =D
They might even do the work for a few bucks...

I got my vinyl for free! there's a place called Windshield Wizards here in S'toon and they do graphics, tinting and 3m bras etc. I just went in and asked if they had any scraps of black vinyl I could buy and they just gave me a big piece. It was an odd shape but more than enough to do both bowties and SS's.

Why buy blackout bowties when you can do it for free! or nearly anyways

Canadian tire has it sometimes as well in the window tint section. They only had the graphite stuff though when I was looking.

The stuff you're looking for is good and thick and has a paper backing on it.

Good luck!
Thanks for the help, I can give Canadian tire a try =D Yeah i was thinking about asking some print shops if they have any scraps laying around =p hopefully i can get some for free.

Vinyl just sounds cheap to me. I just put on my black billet badges today and they look killer. The finish is bulletproof. I went through Defenderworks, GM product. Not cheap.

No, you don't... I took mine off to stripe behind it. Heat gun and some fishing line.
