It is annoying, if the CAGS kicks in I just hold the clutch in a second longer and blip the gas, I have one the eliminators but just haven't installed it yet.

I was driving in the rain yesterday and the roads are slick, I started sliding going up a hill in 4th and wasn't getting on it - thankfully we have traction control and stability control!
At a light, going up a hill I'm going slow trying not to spin out and have a cop right behind me and CAGS hits me. If you put it in neutral for a second you can hit second thankfully. Had I switched to 4th I'd have been slowing down up the hill til I stalled out or down shifted, either way it would have been really shitty. CAGS can be dangerous and I'm putting the skip shift eliminator in as soon as it gets here. |
