needed RS tail light housing if anyone knows where to get one - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I got in a hurry working on my tail lights and crack the red lense. What I need to know is where can I find a passenger side inner tail light housing? I love to drive my car and kinda need to find one asap.

Mike,
There should be a part number on the light. I took out the driver inner passenger tail light and got the part number.

You will have to unsnap the chrome bezel, and then loosen the bolts. On mine I could loosen the bolts for the tail light housing with my finger, and on it was the part number.

Once you have that, any of the various GM parts, or your local dealer should be able to get it for you.

The drivers side part inner is 92212647

I don't feel like tearing apart the passenger side yet.

my luck they will be on backorder, I was trying to find out if any of the gm online sites have them.

That's why I gave you the number I had. You can most likely ask the person about this part, but say you need the other side, and they can check.

Another option you can try to do is see if car-part.com (the junk yard look up site), has any nearby from a wreck or something.

any one happen to know the part number of the passenger side inner lamp? I have put my car back together and dont want to really take it apart unless I really have to.

Mike are you saying you need a red lens for the passenger side next to the trunk opening, like this pic the one next to the opening

If so i have the red lens if you want more info send me a PM.
