New 1LE Owner.

Just posting to introduce myself. My wife and I purchased a 2013 1LE last week. Found it locally with 17000 miles. I’m impressed we really love the car.
Big improvement over our fourth gen. Handling is much better and the interior is better thought out.
Previous owner had already installed a Borla exhaust and some subs. I removed the subs since they used all the trunk space and added a ton of weight. Install looked nice and sounded great but it was more than I wanted. The battery was also covered and didn’t have access for replacement. We went back with a single Kicker sub and recovered the trunk area with new carpet.
Spare tire kit is on order, thanks to everyone who has shared what they did for a spare. I bought the kit from eBay that is designed for the big brakes.
If the previous owner is on here chime in I would love to know the history of the car!

Congrats and Welcome

The red 1le is the best color with black accents. If you should every need to re wrap your hood. The factory used matte but satin black seems to work better with water spots.
Happy Modding!!

Congrats on the great find and welcome to the 5th gen. community. You should be able to sell those huge what ever they are in the trunk for a good buck. And take that Toyota license plate frame off real fast.

That license plate frame has been driving me nuts! New one on order black with the 1le engraved at the bottom. Worse than the frame is the dealer sticker on the trunk lid. I am hoping that it removes easily without any paint damage.

Thanks for fixing my pics!
