I still subscribe to "SUV and Driver", sorry, I mean "Car and Driver", the print version. Wonder how long until they have a comparo with the Porsche or BMW version of this Blazer? Heck, they'll probably do it.

Came here to see if people would compare the new Blazer to the Camaro. Was not disappointed...

I like it overall. Chevy's crossover offerings are pretty weak IMO for a market that's blowing up, so this will definitely boost sales. The Equinox and Trax aren't exactly the nicest cars from a design perspective.

That being said, I have very mixed feelings about Chevy adhering so very very strictly to a "corporate face" to the point where the Camaro and Blazer are even comparable in design. I'd be interested to see if the next gen Corvette continues to get preferential treatment of sorts in the sense that it's traditionally divorced from the rest of the brand identity.

I wish 2019 camaro SS refresh had this front end. Maybe they are saving it for 7th gen?

I don't think it will ever be possible for the Camaro to have quite exactly the same design. It seems Chevy is following a trend that Jeep began with the Cherokee and is spreading to other vehicles like the new Hyundai Kona. The topmost lights are actually the DRL's and the bottom-most lights are the actual headlamps. This trick allows them to legally comply with NHSTA standards while making it look more aggressive. The Camaro doesn't really have the ride hide or vertical realestate to accommodate that type of setup.

The lamp setup is mentioned here at about the 4:40 mark:

The reason I dislike the Camaro redesign so much is exactly why I really like this design. The massive black grill gives it a taller look which is great on a truck/SUV, just not what I want on a low slung sports car.

Those DRLs are ridiculously cool! That is exactly what I was expecting the new Camaros to have.

I can't see GM NOT making an SS version of this. That would be a huge missed opportunity.

Love the design! If they would bring it to Europe, I definitely would buy one in the future

The headlights arent up at the top. Those are only the LED DRLs. The actual headlights are down where the foglights would normally be. This is the best looking Chevy outside of the Camaro and Impala that Ive seen in a long time. All their other vehicles are boring and bland.

Wow, they took the ugliest part of the ugliest Camaro and put it on another vehicle. I think it's safe to call it: GM is run by retards.

I appologize in advance for any retards this may insult.

I actually love it. The exterior, especially the RS. They went a little far with the Camaro theme inside IMO but could live with it.

Let's hope they release a Colorado based TrailBlazer to counter the Bronco.

What’s the ultimate goal of a design? To sell cars, or to help sell cars.
Who buys the cars? We (us), the customers.
And so? The opinion of us, the customers, is a valid point towards a design; just because most of us don’t have car design jobs, or work in marketing, does not invalidate our feedback.

It was a light comment to a light comment...
