Here are a few more pictures. The car's undercarriage has been completely stripped. It's waiting to go to the paint department for minor body work and complete undercarriage repaint (same as the body color).

It looks naked

The subframe is waiting to go get bead blasted. It'll be painted black.

WOW!!! Seing it look so flinstone-ish, just brought a little tear to my eye.

Well, I know that soon it'll all be going back together, and be better, faster, more beautiful, and fully modernized. Thanks for sharing the process with us!

Hey everyone!

I need some ideas on striping schemes. I'm keeping the color the same (as my wife won't let me change it). So, please give me some suggestions on stripes. Sample pictures would be awesome!

I say keep it classic like the pics Diana put up. The yellow Camaro stripes on your car would be too modern and you would have to change your rims ( 18s and 20s tall and wide) stance (slammed to the ground) and some other things to make it look right.

Just my opinion, gonna be nasty either way!

I'm with Big Booty......

Partial to the '69 SS/RS Black car with the white hockey sticks. That, to me, screams Original.

Another thing that kills me is that every Camaro has "Z28"/"SS" style stripes that run from the front to the back. While its a timeless look, it makes every Camaro look just like the next one.

Doing something like Diana/Mike Travers/Ahem...Andre

did with that design is completely HOT and out of the box. While making the car "theirs," it also tells people that you mean business and that your car isn't just one fish outta the school of them.

One thing I totally plan on doing on our next 1st Gen is installing Houndstooth Interior.......Yellow, Orange

, White, Black, it doesn't matter....that stuff is the Bees Knees!!!

Just a thought....

Ocikat: I like this one. I was even thinking of starting the stripe(s) just off of center, then running as shown. In other words, the stripe on the header would have a gap of an inch or two. Interesting...
