Anyone know what fuel pump comes in ZR1?

I am curious if anyone knows where I can find pics of a fuel pump out of a ZR1. I bought a dual pump from Fastlane and am curious if it isnt a ZR1 fuel pump. I cant find pics anywhere of one off a ZR1.

Don't know, but just keep track of the Fastlane capability. it's not the pumps, it is the I.D. of the fuel line that can bite you for high-HP applications.

The ZR1 fuel pump is a specialized 'brushless' screw pump from a company called TI Automotive that requires regulated variable voltage via a unique companion electronic controller. I highly doubt that the pump you bought is the ZR1 pump, it is not a bolt on aftermarket type of pump. Guess how I know? Because I work at TI Automotive!

Although the ZR1 pump is a beast, highest pressure/flow pump in existence....like I said it requires integration with the ECM, so you can't just stick it into any fuel delivery module and have it work.

Thanks for the info. I am really surprised at the quality of the Fastlane as it looks like an OEM pump. I am just that much more impressed with their product now. Speedster, what is the alternative to the I.D. problem?

Is it a C4 ZR-1 dual pump? Because the 1990 - 1995 ZR-1s have a dual pump system.

Is Fastlane from CA?

The brushless screw pump is on the current C6 ZR-1....I don't know anything about the pre 1996 fuel systems. No dual pumps from 96 to current systems though

Fastlane says it is rated at 800 hp and I am sure they know what they are advertising. The factory lines aren't very large and are more of the bottleneck. If you want any further info, shoot me a PM.

Nope, the first 2-3 model years the CTS-V had the TI Automotive 39/50 DCSS turbine pump mounted in the Denso module, now it has a Denso pump, possibly two...I stopped paying attention after they stopped using the TI pump
Here is a link on the E5LM screw pump: http://www.mepax.com/?page=produit&p...6781f39459affb
