Ben and Bob are good people... I need to take a ride in a FI or cammed Camaro before I can justify the jump to my wife as well..

I may have mis-understood your post. If you haven't done headers.. DO NOT WAIT. The sound is INCREDIBLE. Bob WAS running a deal on stainless works. I imagine he would probably still throw you down for some.

If you haven't done any suspension work... SERIOUSLY consider their whiteline bushings complete kit. Very cheap because they don't have a big name slapped on them, but they are just as good as the competition when it comes to polyurethane .. it will help you keep all that power going to the ground. I should have mine completed by the end of the month or early Feb. You will feel the road "a bit more", but not to bad. His eibach or lake wood sway bars also eliminated body roll for me.

There is flywheel and rear wheel HP. Real wheel HP (RWHP) is what most of us gauge our power at. Flywheel is for the birds.. or people trying to beef up unrealistic numbers.

There aren't many cars on the road that have 400 hp at the crank... let alone the wheels. 425-500hp at the wheels is a TON of power. Like OP stated, you will easily lose 25% of your flywheel number (which is 400hp for the L99) through the drivetrain. Putting that power to the ground is the critical portion.

The two side "shells" that go around and meet up in front just behind the pulley aren't. It's cool that they say "Supercharged" and all but I'd still like them off to see the whole s/c not just the top. JMHO.

Couldn't agree more about Bob. We've been discussing the options for over a month. I agree with the headers and a "real" tune, but still would like a little back-up so playing by Edelbrocks rules for now (no headers, their air box, can tune) for warranty purposes. I did the muffler delete over a year ago and it does sound like a muscle car. I listened to one of his videos where they installed a SW catback, retro is what I think it was. That's about the best non long tube I've heard so far. Bob and I have discussed how I use the car, and for now he thinks I'll be fine until the urge to go bigger, and the checkbook catches up. Let me know if you head to the beach and you can get your ride, PM me if interested.

I have the Edelbrock too and giggle like a school girl almost every day. Enjoy!! :-) Oh and the urge to do more has hit, going long tubes with xpipe to finish the exhaust and upgrading drive shaft and rear half shafts.

Keep us informed. I'd like to know how the AFM lifters hold up with the extra HP.

425rwhp seems low? my car dyno'd at 530 with a e-force, stock pully and one of teds tunes. mines a manual though.

Now I have a roto-fab and headers etc i should be around the 545-550 mark but havent had it on a dyno to check yet.

Nice numbers, I stayed with Edelbrock's rules for now to maintain a little security blanket. Right now it's a blast to drive on the street and I've been impressed so far with what the boost has done so far, just need to decide how fardo I go to make me happy. Probably end with headers, CAI, and a better tune and the maybe 75 - 100 rwhp still sitting there will come out. Not quite ready to throw all the cash into "pay to play" game just yet. I hope that everyone can get what they want out of their Camaros and enjoy the hell out of them, whether it's for show or go, remember it's yours.
