It was with the same announcement that explains why the production line is shut down and no ZL1's are being delivered

There is no carbon fiber package. The only availlable CF part is the exposed hood insert. The car that had the carbon fiber spoiler was a concept known as the Carbon Edition.

Though I do hope they release the CF spoiler for sale at some point in the future. It looked pretty sweet.

Hugh?? Originally the exposed carbon fiber was said to be on constraint,
(although some were made originally), and the only thing you could order
was the painted carbon fiber hood. I know that for a fact because my
order date came in on the first wave of orders and I passed on it because
I wanted the exposed fiber hood.

Then latter (few weeks or so), the painted fiber hood was placed on constraint due to problems and all you could order was the exposed carbon hood. Then shortly after that the production of ZL1's halted and all the ones which were ready to be shipped were also placed on hold due to some undisclosed issue.
As fas as I am aware of the situation the painted fiber hood is still on constraint and the exposed carbon hood is the only hood you can order at this time.
If they has changed again I would like to see the official announcement of
this. Since I am ordering the exposed carbon hood, and its an issue for me concerning this car.

I was being a smart A$$ I haven't heard anything about that either. I too gave up my first slot because the exposed was all I could order and I don't want exposed. So now I'm like you and wondering what is available when the orders start up again.

So that's why the QC hold on production...the hood insert is likely to fly off under hard/constant acceleration...well I hope they're using some stronger rivets!...J/K

Actually due to the 650 hp that the mustangs getting they changed out
LSA for a Twin Turbo LS9 and changed out the brakes. The car will do
mach one in first gear, you don't want to know what 4th gear is capable of.

Is it April 1st yet? Just getting a head start

$600 is the cost of the Exposed Carbon Fiber Hood Insert OPTION, when ordered as an installed option--Code B92.

$2200 is the rip-off high retail price of this hood insert sold separately as a GM part.
