59 pickup opinions

hey guys
here is a picture of a 59 Chevy Apache Fleetside that is similar to mine. Mine is in the body shop for cancer removal and paint. It is originally blue.

I'm thinking about going back with blue, but somewhat darker than the original '59 blue

This is a daily driver truck. It's job is to occasionally haul stuff in the bed and pull a boat

I'm considering a matt finish? that's my blue one

what do yall think

anyone willing photoshop a few colors?

I think that would look great next to my grey and black 87 V-10 (K10)
Silverado interior 4x4.

I would not go with a Matte finish - that Fad will fade!

Matte finishes are very hard to keep clean. In my opinion, it doesn't sound like a great idea for a truck being used the way you use it.

Matte will help to hide the subtle wrinkles and dimples and bulges that may remain after some body work has been done, while dark, shiny/ gloss paint will magnify every blemish. Unless your bodywork is absolutely top- shelf/ high- dollar work, I think that a matte finish is a good idea. Plus, matte on a truck looks badass. But, while I like the idea of a matte/ flat finish, I'm personally not a fan of matte blue.
