missing parts under the hood

hello all! so i recently was gifted a 97' camaro rs 3.8L V6... how ever its rebuilt, and the problem is under the hood the first picture is mine :



a part is missing it goes on that silver round thing and goes all the way to the right of the car
The second picture is the one I found in the web..that part closest to the front o the car it's actually attached to that silver circle thing I was talking about in the first picture

my car is missing that part.. what is(are) the part(s) called

Im assuming yore talking about the air intake and tube assembly. That round things is your MAF sensor

^ yep, it looks like you're missing the entire air box assembly -- filter and all!

Just get a cold air intake form eBay, seller name chrome intakes

Is cold air intake really worth it though? I heard it doesn't do much differance ?
And as for the check engine light codes no not really my dash bored doesn't even light up when I turn the car on

Anything is better than the stock junk, and its not that much difference in price. IAT sensor is not plugged in, should be throwing a code for that.
