Justice Pete is the god-father to Gen 5 suspension. Everything I have done to my car in the suspension can be traced back to his advice.

I have the ZL1 toe rods. You can get a set of take-offs for under $100 in the classified section.

Upgraded sway bars are easy to do and relatively inexpensive. You really can't go wrong with any of the ZL1-spec bars.

I just picked up a set of trailing arms (should be installed within the next week or two).

All of the above can be installed in your garage with some simple tools in just a few hours, but you WILL NEED an alignment afterwards.

Pete, Just a follow-up to your alignment post: How does that effect tire-wear?

They reduce inside shoulder tire wear. Nothing but win.

I will try that setup in a couple of weeks. I'm installing some new components which will need a rear alignment.

Thanks!

Oh man I know who i'm going to ask for help now that I need to upgrade my suspension.

If, it's not too much trouble JusticePete. I do a lot of research, but still it helps to actually have my own questions answered than to read someone's "similaresque" question answered.

Rear Camber 0.00 to -0.50
Rear Toe IN 0.12 per side
Total Rear Toe IN 0.24

Do not underestimate the value and importance of these alignment specs. They are mission critical.

There are parts becoming available from the Z/28 will be be good for reducing wheel hop, the upper rear outer control arm bushing is solid rubber and I believe 400% firmer than the bush in the rest of the Camaro fleet.

ZL1 /1LE toe links are a plus.

Upgrading to the 1LE / ZL1 28mm rear bar is another key element in reducing wheel hop.

Start with the alignment. It will make a significant difference.

Disclaimer, run at a pro-stock prepared drag strip with good DRs or slicks and you'll tear up your drive-line because shafts and other drive-line parts become the fuses.
thanks , sounds exactly right!
