Caught!!! BMW M1 Prototype!! Undisguised!!

This photo was taken in a hanger in Spain. Has some new M3 incorporated into the design. Will most likely use M5's and M6's 500hp V10 with probably a bit more power. I think it looks fantastic . Watch out Audi R8, your worst nightmare has arrived!

So why would BMW call this the M1 if this is a supercar and they already have a 1 series? Doesn't make sense to me. Can someone explain.

if you read the postings under the pic, a lot of comments are that the pic is a chop job. it isn't real.

it looks ok but there are parts that look suspect.

Research the original M1. It dates back well before the 1 series ever existed.

oh ok thanks guys. And like Mythic said, the pic is probably a photoshop according to fastlanedaily.com. They even showed a pic of a gt40 that they probably used.

The BMW M1 was originally built by Lamborghini.... and was the beginning of the M Series cars.

I love the aggressive stance to the car. But I think the "prototype", if its REAL, is better looking.
