So here is a quick sideview picture of my Camaro with the Ohlins Suspension. As I wrote before, it is just a minor lowering compared to stock.

In my opinion this is just a perfect drop!
Anything lower doesn't suit the Camaro

I agree, it does look sharp.

Cant' wait to get mine done, and on the road this spring. It's going to be a long winter.

Merry Christmas!

With the recommended springs and spring preload the car will be lowered 20mm front and 15mm rear. It doesn't have a height adjustment.

Got the camber plates from Ground Control suspension. These are verified to fit the Ohlins coilovers after taking some measurements and working with them to make sure the plates would not raise the ride height or have any other kind of fitment issues. I can now reschedule with AMF Motorsports to get the coilovers assembled. I'm hoping to get them on the shock dyno so I can share some of the specific details on available damping adjustability, and possibly compare to OEM damping levels. Not apples to apples but at least a comparison that I'm interested in seeing.

Ohlins was a little late to the party with these, but they've actually been available since about March (I had an opportunity to get one of the 1st production sets back in February, but decided to stick with what I had).

Congrats!

I would be curious how the Z/28 DSSV's damping compare to the Ohlins

I thought the pics of these show a coil over shock. Or are the threads on the body not for adjustment?

They are adjustable. With that said... They have a limited range of adjustment so you probably would not be able to go for that "Stance" look that is so common these days. The recommended setting from Ohlins is a 20MM drop on the rear and 15MM drop on the front. There is enough room for adjustments to properly cross corner balance the vehicle and not have dramatically changed the overall suspension geometry.

We just got a set of these Road and Track Ohlins in for a project build I am doing to be featured in Street/Race Magazine. I will Dyno them and on the car with some before and after pics. I will also be working with Ohlins TTX Series fitted for the Camaro.

Very cool! I've been so busy traveling for work and not able to get a chance to put it together yet. I'm working on a plan to get to AMF on Tuesday.

The TTX setup should suffice for any build, looking forward to hearing and seeing more about your build.

Cheers!
