oil leak

Well went to change my oil today and noticed I had a leak. Its leaking around the cooler and where the tranny meets the engine. She's goning in tomorrow. Funny thing is the service guy said its the first he's heard of a camaro leaking...

they always say that...

it is your oil cooler gasket, there is a TSB about it, make sure you let them know that!

Yep, just had mine fixed! It's hard for me to believe a brand new car could have an oil leak, WTF! The dealer replaced the oil cooler adaptor gasket and cleaned off the oil. Hope it takes care of it. Other members here have had the same problem.

I got it fixed today. It was the oil cooler gasket. Thanks for the clues.

ask them if they replaced the o-rings when changing out the gasket the last time. if they did their job right, when you told them you had an oil cooler gasket leak, they shoulda looked up the TSB for it and known to replace those as well.

I have a 2SS/RS A6 that I just noticed is spotting on my garage floor. It looks to me like transmission fluid. I'm going to put it on ramps tonight and get under there and look at it before I call the dealer. I want to be able to give them specifics before I take it in.

Any one else with a tranny fluid leak?
