that's awesome. I'm sure everyone over in the states that enjoys track time is extremely jealous of the fact that the Nurburgring is within reach and openly drivable for a fee. Great story and thanks for sharing!

That's amazing.....

You know that all of us here in the States are completely jealous ! A few laps around the Ring would be a dream come true for many of us !

Thanks for sharing your experience.

btw, 1.34L ( if in US currency ) would be about $5.44gal for us. Holy smokes! Is that pump gas or racing fuel ?
Ordered Oct. 13th, Del. Jun. 29th! CGM, 2SS/RS

Great story and the best part is you and your car were in tact at the end. I'm sure there are a good number of folks that pay their 100 bucks and leave with 1000's in damage for doing something stupid. I think I would be broke if I had a track like that nearby at $100/4 laps, I'd be stopping there on the way home from work

Great story!

I have been there 20-30 times, and just recently in May for the Scuderia Hanseat Race where a buddy and I drove 2 Lotus Exige Cups. I will be taking my Camaro there next year sometime though, can't wait to set some serious lap times there.

I have driven a 8.15 BTG lap in my wifes Audi B7 RS4 and it is the most fun one can have outside of a bed

Here are 2 shots from this years trip, one of the lotus and one of the wifes RS4!

something like 95 right?

The European octane rating is different the here in the US. 93 premium here is comparable to 98-99 octane in Europe, 87 would be 95 octane etc so it is pretty much the same, just different ratings.-

We have been paying way more then that for fuel over there! We have paid up to about 8USD per gallon for regular 87 octane!
