Kind of interesting, attached to that article is a poll about whether the changes being made will save GM and Chrysler. I took the poll and then looked at the results. Surprisingly, out of over 71k responses- over 50% said that the changes being made would save NEITHER GM nor Chrysler.

The poll isn't scientific, but it surprised me that the number would be that high. I think a lot of people just hate detroit.

a lot of them just dont understand. they think the free market should take care of itself. just like it did in the great depression, because that worked out great.

IMO some of the banks shouldnt have been saved, because it is alot easier to tell someone they cant have a loan, than to build a car everyone likes.
