Is that their typical test and tune, or are they "racing" that day. If I go I wanna make passes, not watch mile long lines in the lanes. I have been thinking hard about getting another few licks in this year.

ESTA test and tune on the 23rd and the 30th, weather permitting.

Closed on the house, and now I'm overseas for the next three weeks. I need to get the Z into the garage before the snow hits. Hopefully I can take a few days off of work and trailer it up. I look forward to meeting everyone in the spring.

Question: I start my car, let it warm up a bit and roll out. It seems to be running extremely strong. I can chirp the tires in 2 gears. After about 20 minutes, the boost I once had is gone. WTF?!?!?!?! Is there a way to eliminate this?? Im thinking of buying that damn throttle controller. Car runs the 1/8 in 9.2 when its luke warm and 9.5 hot.

pretty sure thats normal... same reason your car seems more responsive in 60degree weather than 98degree weather.

Maybe it's running a little rich still and then leans out as it fully warms up

Im wondering if this can be tuned out???? Its almost a 1/2 second difference.

Called heat soak, major issue with the LLT motor. The Aluminum intake manifold gets hot and expands the air. There are a few ways to reduce it.

1. Add either mace 25mm manifold spacer or black ice-olator (helped me for a bit)
2. Add vents to help heat escape the engine bay.
3. Swap to an LFX composite intake manifold (did this and no longer have heat sink issues very pricey)
