The shirts are being sold at or even below our cost depending on what size you order, basically anything bigger than a large is being sold below cost. We were doing a flat rate with shipping before, but the pricing didn't really make a lot of sense due to some peoples shipping costing more and some less. The shipping price you are paying is what we are paying for UPS Ground and packaging, so it is not as if we are making a profit on them, the only real winner is UPS. We looked into USPS but some of them are to big to fit in the smaller boxes, so you end up paying the same or more as UPS, plus our rural area post office is less than stellar and half the time seems to sit on shipments for days or even a week. Hopefully that makes sense, either way, you are getting a shirt for what it cost us or less, and paying us what we are paying to UPS.

On a side note, most people don't realize this but UPS and FedEx went to "Dimensional Weight" this year, meaning that whether your shipping a 10lb item or a 1lb item, they are charging based off of the area of the box, then assigning a weight based off of that size, not the actual weight. I'm not saying necessarily that it makes a huge difference for our shirts, but I can tell you for certain it made a large difference on our CAI's. Shipping is getting higher every year unfortunately, and their new weight classification is not helping at all unfortunately.
