WASHER BOTTLE REMOVAL PICS ADM AIR SCOOP INSTALL
(WHEN I WENT TO TAKE OUT THE WASHER FLUID BOTTLE I COULDNT FIND ANY PICTURES ON HOW TO DO IT SO I HOPE THIS IS A HELP TO SOME PEOPLE. ) FROM OUR CLUBS SITE NY5THGEN.COM
SAFELY JACK UP CAR SET IT ON A JACK STAND THEN TAKE OF THE TIRE TO BE CONTINUED ........... TOOK ABOUT 45 MINUTES VERY SIMPLE TOOK HER OUT ON THE ROAD DEFINTLEY NOTICED SOME MORE THROTTLE RESPONSE, ONCE THE AIR SCOOP COMES I WILL POST MORE INFO. IT WOULD MAKE SENSE THAT MORE AIR COMING IN WOULD HELP OUT SO I WASNT SURPRISED AT THE DIFFERENCE. WHAT THE AIR SCOOP WILL DO IS DIRECT THE AIR IN TO THE INTAKE AND SEAL UP THE AREA. WELL SEE. AIR SCOOP SHIPPED ALREADY SO BY NEXT WEEK ILL HAVE THE REST OF THE PROJECT DONE. SO FAR EASY CHEAP MOD. IN THE FUTURE ILL BE ADDING A SMALLER WASHER BOTTLE BEHIND THE COLD AIR INTAKE. http://s6.zetaboards.com/ny5thgen/topic/8690169/1/?x=0 Last edited by 1969to2010; 11-06-2010 at 11:50 PM. |

I plan on doing this soon
Very nice write-up. I'm gonna keep an eye on this thread till you finish. I'd also like to see the washer bottle you add. I personally don't like the "washer bag" so a smaller bottle would be good like the one the "Injen" intake uses. Good Job

I would like to add the scoop but I'm waiting for a good solution to relocating the washer bottle. 1969to1020, please post pics of your relocated bottle! Andy, is ADM looking for a washer bottle solution? Thanks!
