Getting gears... QUESTIONS
Ok so my future plans for my car should have it around 600-650 rwhp and i was wondering if a 4.11 gear was to short for that much power and if i should go with the 3.90 gear to be safe.

With that much HP I would go with the 3.73.

Do you plan on drag racing? My car with the 625 rwhp setup in it and with 3.45's shifted into 5th before the traps. Jannetty has since made the adjustment to hold fourth longer but any shorter of a gear and you'll be in the middle of 5th. I had 4.10's but we took them out in place of the 3.45's because the rwhp rose quite abit.

I am seriously considering 3:07's for a few reasons....
I can push them, I wont have to shift so quickly, And I will be running the Standing Mile.... Looking for 200+.... As it is, I spin pretty much through 4th....

I sure wouldn't go with Richmond 3.73's with the power you are making. You'll break them for sure. Go with the LPE AAM 3.70's or 3.91's, you'll be alot happier.

You really can't compare them. But 5th gear is nearly the same ratio at .85 ratio. So there is a bigger gap to overcome with the auto.
