Does this new kit retain these sounds in your case? And if so, how does it work?

THANK YOU
Hallo,

yes, i have connected the amp direct with rca cables. The wire to activate the amp i have connected to the red wire, so the amp will be activated, when i switch the ignition to position accessories.
The kit has included a cmx chime module, that is connected direct to the pac-interface. I have deinstalled my center speaker in the dash, routed the cable for connecting cmx chime module to the center speaker place and then connected the module. All chimes are audible fine, all car sounds will be reproduced and the volume is good, pitches are habituation need, but they are there and distinguishable.

The camera is on the top center of the lower grille (it was a really tight fit and I am not able to adjust the camera up and down, but luckily the angle is about perfect so i got lucky). I'll take some pictures showing the install location on the car and some shots of the view from the HU. I had some earlier shots from the HU but they were taken when the front end of the car was laying on the ground while I was testing to make sure everything worked before putting the front end back on the car.

So, what about the cam harness that comes with the kit? Is it only for use with cars that have mylink?

Can anyone tell me what these two connectors are for? I know the black one is for the antenna and the other one is a mystery. They were both connected to my factory hu. Any help would be appreciated.

I didn't realize that I needed a micro bypass so that I can get around the parking brake connection. This was way more work than I anticipated. I should have spent the $150 to have it installed. Oh well, too far into it to stop now.

Does anyone know if the kits offered by Double D Mods included everything that is needed for the install?

The kits are offered by PAC and sold by Phastek (Sponsor) and other vendors.

The instructions were provided in post #25

The rest of the thread pretty much provides everything else you need to know

Sorry, I was referring to the Kenwood Radio package they sell that includes the PAC dash kit.

I'm not understanding your concern exactly, what is it you believe could be missing?
