It was a 'SALVAGE' title. It will always carry the 'Rebuilt-Salvage' on the title. I would for them to post the Application to go from Salvage to Rebuilt-Salvage. Here is what it looks like - http://www.michigan.gov/documents/tr-13a_18951_7.pdf they have document all parts that are changed and where they got them from. It will never be worth the full value of even an 'SS' Not worth the money they are asking that is why they put it on EBAY

I don't know if it's the "quite possibly the hottest Chevy Camaro Convertible in the country..." It looks OK except for the large CAMARO in the rear and ZL1 badging. I would've painted the rockers like the ZL1s.
Is that the ZL1 hood/insert with black striping? |

crap like this just bothers me. I hate people trying to pass cars off for what they are not. i dont care if its a SS in disguise as a ZL1, a 3series BMW as A M3, or whatever. dont do it.

I like how he says.....

Really?!? a rebuilt title is not as good as a clear title,for one thing you have no warranty from GM,secondly I ran the VIN through GM's database,and not only does it have a blocked warranty and branded title,but this car was also a Hertz rental car as well. This is a fail is so many ways!

Hahaha!! I saw this on EBay last week! A friend of mine showed me! I read the description and the more I read it, the more pissed I got about how he was comparing to an $81K ZL1! So I took the time to email him a nice little email! Never got a response! Surprise!! Surprise!! I do realize it's his car and he can do what he wishes!!! But don't compare it to any ZL1!! It has no Mag Ride, no track modes and more important it doesn't have the LSA!!!

I emailed the seller and asked if he could provide copies of the forms they require to get a rebuild-salvage title. The seller did not know what I was asking for...... I also looked at previous sales. He has 100% feedback and some of the other vehicles were flood damaged.
