9 SS's at my local dealership - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

At the start of the video you will see 2 (yellow and RJT) behind the black one and the ABM one. All are SS's except for 1 in the video. Start at 32ish and go up to 39ish. Most were auto's, most were 2SS's. dealer is in Kenmore, NY. Paddock Chevrolet. Price is sticker MSRP.

Are they marking any of them up over MSRP? If there is that "dealer processing fee" of $500 to $900 or so, that is a markup.

But this is a good sign- not so long ago, the ones sitting in showrooms were all substantially marked up.

As far as I know they sell them directly at MSRP. They've sold a ton of them, so I would say they aren't marking them up one bit. I talked to their web guy 2 weeks ago, and they had already sold over 150 of them, so what does that tell ya.

The Chevy dealer in Georgetown that has been marking these cars up 4-5k and can't keep any in stock now has 13 on the lot as yesterday. Supply is finally catching up w/ demand and absurd markups are going to be more & more frowned upon.

On V6's.... The SS;s still have lots of interest, and there are new orders every day. Now add the fact we are getting about 50% less of them....
