Still waiting...

Ordered my CAI over two weeks ago and am STILL waiting for it to be delivered. From what I've read, it's an awesome intake, but I would have expected it to be here by now...

If it has not already shipped, it will be shipping in the next 48 hours. 2 of our main suppliers did a 2 week shutdown over the holidays which essentially put us 2 weeks behind production. Unfortunately we were unable to pre-plan for it because they did not tell us until a few days before shutting down, last year the same 2 companies were only shut down for 3 days. Sorry for the delay, as soon as it ships I will send tracking info. Thanks for choosing CAI Inc.!

I dropped mine in today, but kept the washer bottle in there. Any reason you took it out?

Two reasons actually.

1.I don't use it as my Camaro is stored in the winter and does not go out in the rain or wet roads.

2. When removed, it leaves a big gaping hole for outside air to come in.

From what I have heard people usually only do the relocate kit if they are adding a race scoop. Do you plan on adding a scoop? It frees up some volume inside the air box and allows for a little smoother airflow. Its one of those things where you can do it but it is not necessary, then again what mod is! Hope this helps!
