If your going to drag it, then mod it?
Some guys like to keep their cars stock and they also like to run them at the track. Sometimes it can be just as fun to see how fast you can run (stock).

And where did the street racing comment (before you kill someone) come from? The guy posted the times he ran at the track.

I say post all your real time slips and your best time corrected. Just make sure you point out that it is corrected.

To the OP; how are you launching...what mode, what RPM, etc?
I tested all modes on Friday - best mode is everything off in M (sport mode, not paddle shifters - have not tried them yet)

Launching at 1700 RPM, any more and tires spin

And when I say everything off I mean hold the traction button for 6 seconds.

Have not street raced anyone

It will be modded - I am trying to run completely stock, then every mod I am going to run. I think I am getting street slicks first rather than intake though.

Drag Radials It is actually what a group I hang out with calls Drag Radials because they pretty much are slicks but allowed on the street.

Good times. And yeah, all times should be corrected, someone running at 60 degrees at sea level is going to run way faster than the guy @ 100 degrees and 3,000 ft, no question. Get some drag radials pronto, would be nice to run 12's stock with an A6 with just tires.

Sorry but I'm new at this as well. Could someone explain what a corrected time is and what the bold info is below.

(72 degrees, 46% Humidity, 29.97 in. pressure, DA: 1625 ft, RD: 95.33%)

I'm guessing a corrected time has something to do with the above, is there a formula?

Yeah, put your timeslip info in here:

The correction corrects a timeslip so that there is an even playing field when it comes to weather and elevation in comparing different runs in different conditions.

^yeah, it will be pretty frustrating later on, when guys from say, denver, try to compare members times run at say ATCO. This plays a HUGE roll in your times. Showing your "real" time, with at least a disclaimer that tells what your corrected time would have been would be helpful I think.

[QUOTE=Baughman;652566]Umm..... Not trying to be too rude here, but maybe you missed the title of the thread "Got back from the TRACK again." Nothing about street racing [/QUOTE
It's a 'McGruff' not, not directed to the OP. Enjoy your cars on the track..

Give it time, between people learning the car and cooler weather coming in a couple Months I believe a average driver will get timeslips they are advertising.
You're still missing the point. He's not bragging about a 13.1 time, he's posting his actual times and then his best corrected. This allows 2 things

1) People to compare there cars at different tracks/days/weather to his.
2) Him to compare any future modifications from a different day.

Knowing and posting your corrected times is actually quite smart.
