Hey All! I've been a long time lurker on Camaro5 and am in the market for a new car. I've test driven several Camaros (along with some Mustangs). I love the car. I'm trying to decide between a 1SS and 2SS-mostly a financial decision and a "keep my wife happy" decision. How much should I expect out the door price for either a 1SS or 2SS in Tucson (including tax, title, license, registration...)? Any advice is welcome.
Thank you in advance. |

Locally, a good price on a base 2012 1 SS is under $33K. A good price on a 2SS is around $36K. I would also recommend contacting Becky on this site. She's arranged some great deals for other camaro buyers. You can find her on the Camaro Pricing / Ordering /Tracking threads; http://www.camaro5.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=10 Good luck, and welcome to the family!

Wow! Thanks! That's not bad. I forgot to mention that I was looking at the L99, too lazy to shift my own gears. I think it depends on how much I can get for my 83 K5 Blazer. I'm detailing it today to put up on Craigslist tomorrow.

If you buy new, check into any discounts you maybe entitled too, like USAA ($750 off), Supplier (3.9% + $1,500 off), and trough your company. I saved around $2,000 off my Camaro using both the USAA, and supplier discount. It’s all about if the dealer will wheel and deal with you. O’Reilly seems to do better on the sells side, while Watson does better on the service.
